Well, since yesterday was a busy one with laundry, chili making and moving a freezer, TODAY is my chill-out day. I am just reding blogs and vegging out on this holiday day (for Canadians, it was our Remembrance Day yesterday, and since I work in healthcare, we get today off). We all need days like this sometimes….at least that’s what I keep telling myself as I waste the day away.

MoonS — “Was” an SNL fan. I don’t know why I keep recording it. I fast-forward through almost all of it except for Weekend Update. I keep watching because I think someday they’ll have a stroke of genius and get funny again. I wanna be there if it happens.

That you’re a SNL fan explains a lot. I haven’t watched SNL in years because it steadily was less and less relevant, the satire just wasn’t as good as it once was. I’m heading over to recommend “Sunday Reflections” to a friend, she really needs it.

@ JD — Don’t worry. I’ll never get deep in this blog. I prefer to keep things shallow and meaningless.

@ Jeff — Yea, that was an interesting multiple choice item.

I see he also created Happy Fun Ball. What a classic! “Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.” I miss when SNL used to be good. That’s probably the most controversial thing I’ve said in this blog. Anyone care to argue that it’s actually good right now?

He also was responsible for Unfrozen Cave Man Lawyer – one of MY favorite SNL skits of all time. I love the fact that they have a survey on his web site that asks if he is real or not, and the #1 most clicked response (with 4235 votes) was “I had sex with him.”

Of cousre he’s no Wilt Chamberlin, but still…

@ Jeff — It does sound like Jack Handey. Thanks for the link. I learned he is responsible for “Toonces the Driving Cat,” one of my all-time favorite SNL sketches.

Never read your blog before so I was assuming this was ending pretty much how it began…I was having a hard time focusing! Until the end!!! Then I could see it clearly! I had just been thinking, “How do people actually DO this? Trying to picture this setting doesn’t do anything to me!” Then, it suddenly DID!!!

When I started reading it, I did think of Seinfeld and hoped it employed their mantra of “No hugging, no learning.”
