john deer should have good service for all users, or it is not possible to develop so wide.

Our household, however, uses Case International equipment, and none of us would be caught dead with any of that Deere stuff. LOL Case has not jumped on the bandwagon and their stuff is not available mainstream. You can buy just about anything in the ole green and yellow. Stuart Gilpin — It’s incredible, isn’t it? I keep seeing more and more Deere merchandise showing up in stores around here. And the logo is slapped on pretty much anything. You name it.

They have started to put substandard stuff into the range now and greed seems to be taking over from the high quality we have been used to.

I was a dealer in Northern Ireland for 33 years and you wouldnt believe the amount of this stuff that sold over the 6 weeks running up to Christmas. Tens of thousands of dollars worth. People just cant get enough of it. I am thinking of starting a Deere religion, I reckon it would do well as so many people seem to worship the brandname.

Massey Ferguson Parts — A co-worker brought me a bag of snacks (similar to gummy bears) made by Kellogg’s that are miniature mowers and tractors. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Her husband also just bought a mower and got an “owner’s” hat to go with it. Apparently that’s something.

Kathy, you apparently don't have a Tractor Supply (slogan: "we deliver OUT HERE**" **=middle of nowhere podunk town but we wouldn't deliver if we didn't have a store here so it ain't really that momentus of a claim. I want to see Tractor Supply deliver to Maui and truly back up their claim) or a feed store near you. You can buy green/yellow/white striped JD fashion socks, or a pink baby t/baseball hat combo with a "vintage look" logo that says you want a John Deere or are a John Deere girl. Carolyn — Yes, I’m cleared up now. I might have more quickly understood this phenomenon had our Walmarts had an entire section of JD merchandise. The bag looked so misplaced and bizarre hanging there with all the flowered birthday bags. And now after reading all the comments, I think I shall keep it because it’s clearly a status symbol! CI should give them a run for their money. There’s obviously a market out there they need to tap into.
