hi Kathy, A 1 to 1 legit to spam comment ratio (well, 1 to 1.1) is great. I thought it would be more like 1 to 20. I wouldn't be disheartened. I'd be glad that's all you get! Trade Show Guru Steve — Yes, I use Akismet spam blocker. I have over 11,000 spam comments that never get through. So yes, the 10,000 comments really were authentic. It’s disheartening that for every real comment, there’s a stupid spam one being logged.

I’m curious to know if you’ve gotten 10,000 legitimate comments, do you know how many spam comments you’ve gotten? I don’t see an askismet counter (do you use that)? I read somewhere that only about 5% of comments are legit, which might mean you’ve gotten about 200,000 spams?
