A Sunday What’s That?
Fun December 7th, 2008I’m posting this What’s That? item on a Sunday morning so that all you early risers can get in a guess before all the other sleepy heads. It’s your reward for getting up at an ungodly hour for a weekend day.
How this works:
1. The photo shows a small portion of a larger object.
2. First person to guess the object it’s a part of wins either 500 Entrecard credits or a Junk Drawer magnet, your choice.
What’s that? Hint: It may or may not be Christmas-related!

I’m with Robert … at least being in the top ten comment thingy – it is part of a plant hanger. I got one just like it out side my kitchen winder.
I wonder if this means Santa is going to get me my new Porsche for Christmas?

Nope it’s only part of something larger…It’s one of those non xmas law ornaments of a cat. It’s the tail of a cat made of the bendy wire material you always see out on people’s lawns.

It looks like those hooks I put on our porch to hang plants from, and where wind chimes are hanging (and Ringing) from this Morning. Otherwise I have no clue.

The top of Mary’s head in a modernistic weird nativity set. The veil/head scarf is the two smaller lines at the left of the picture. Okay, I am probably way wrong.
My second guess is that this item is upside down and it is the foot of a cute little wrought iron decorative stand/table thingie.

It is an ancient symbol that was once tattooed on fraternity members. If we could see the entire figure it would show a toilet below the symbolic head. It was thought that tattooing this on ones body appeased the porcelain god and increased ones ability to ingest massive quantities of beer.

Anyway, in my house this would indeed part of a candle holder – which actually only comes out of the basement for the Christmas season – well, a set of three of them actually. I know that’s already been said, I really should make something up … geesh – its Monday morning. Let me get back to you ….

Having just hung a lot of outdoor Christmas lights this weekend, I’d guess it’s a hook to go on a rain gutter, etc. to hang Christmas lights.
