Fun, food December 24th, 2009Geesh. It’s not like this restaurant was the epitome of fine dining. Actually, it’s more a bar than a restaurant. Whatever.
For the record, I ordered from the weenie drink selections with pride.

Still eat like a 4th grader. My 4th grader gave that up when he discovered real meat. It is still funny to see on a menu though.

I usually find these types of menus/wall graffiti pretty entertaining. There was a grouchy old deli owner in town that had “Tipping is not a city in China” that I was somewhat offended by. We always tip fairly but it is not appropriate to insult the customers into tipping!

The menu is a mind-game tool, psychological. It makes you feel like an idiot for eating something, so that you’ll rather choose the expensive alcoholic drinks, drinking more and more into insolvency, and them into excessive wealth!!
You defeated their evil plans. I admire you! You’ve beat the system!!
By the way, you don’t, uh, puke it all back up when you’re done eating your tiny meal, do you?

I’d say consider thew source, But I am unaware of what that may be.
I too am a big fan of the nice crispy golden brown Chicken finger. I prefer mine with a nice side of BBQ Sauce or sweet and sour. Yummy.
For sure the Coors should have been added to the boring drinks selection.
If that makes me a 4th grader, so be it. I had a great time in 4th Grade.

I ordered a Diet Coke (maximum weenieness).
Magic Hat #9 is a typical domestic beer brewed in Vermont. Husband says it’s OK. Nothing special. I’ve never had it.

My 5th grader quit eating like a 4th grader when he discovered bacon. Which was roughly at 2.
Most of the time, I order the kids menu and an adult entree. The boy gets the adult food and I eat the kids stuff…then give half of it to the kid anyway. Boys are rough.

My co-workers make fun of me for eating like a little kid…applesauce, gummy candy, etc. I also like chicken fingers AND some chicken nuggets. Nothing like being insulted by a restaurant menu, huh?

Reminds me of Jeph’s Sandwich Shop “Where the customer is Always Wrong”. Jeph got tired of people asking why he did not serve BLT’s (He’s Jewish) so he put it on the menu as:
“Lettuce, Tomato, and meat sliced from the side of a pig, cured with nitrates, and fried in lard.”
Not many takers for that!
