No, it does not.

Item Info:
1. The item was found in a storage room in my building at work.
2. It’s old.
3. The pattern is distinctive to the item. Most of the items I’ve found like it in my research have this particular design.

Looks like the 1970’s window covering that rolled up I used to have on my back door. It’s like an old fashioned blind. I know what I mean, but I doubt it makes sense writing it down.

I was going to say it’s a close up of either an old radio speaker cover or an amplifier front grill, but on reflection, they usually all have different cover weaves and colours, so that can’t be right. I’ll have to think more on this.

It looks a bit like a couch fabric my grandparents had in their sitting room: a room untouched since 1976. They had an orange one. It had a really long matching ottoman.

I think Michele is right — it’s the back of some carpeting. Not sure if the carpet is pulling up at work or if there are some squares laying around but that’s exactly what it looks like.

Upholstery from some cast off lobby furniture? My college dorm lobby had that awful ‘This End Up’ furniture with the indestructible wooden crate frames, and just for added security the cushions were tethered to the couch so we didn’t throw them on the floor in a big pile during an orgy.

It’s a closeup of the material from a Victorian era woman’s corset; you know, the kind that helped keep 19th century women simultaneously uncomfortable and chaste. Who in their right mind would want to cuddle up next to that. Thank God for Victoria’s Secret!
